Dr. Zhanjia Zhang - Principal Investigator

Dr. Zhang is currently an Assitant Professor at the Department of Physical Education at Peking University. Before joining Peking University, he received his Ph.D. in Kinesiology at the University of Michigan. Dr.Zhang's research focuses on the promotion of physical activity with multidisciplinary approaches. He has conducted a number of studies examining the relationship between physical activity and psychological well-being in various populations. He is also interested in applying data science and wearable technology in exercise-related fields.

Xingmei Zhang - Master's Student

Hello, I’m Zhang Xingmei, a graduate student in The Department of Physical Education at Peking University. In July 2020, I got the degree of Bachelor of Science from the College of Life Science, Peking University.
In June 2019, I participated in a scientific research project "exploration on the cultivation mode of high-level athletes ". In this project we analyzed the training mode of high-level athletes in colleges and universities.
My favorite sport is football and I am a member of PKU women's football team. On behalf of Peking University we took part in the annual Beijing College Women’s football competition, and our best was second place. We have been working hard for the championship, welcome to watch our game and cheer for us!

Rui Zeng - Master's Student

Rui Zeng was a student from School of Government, Peking University who have finished the Administrative Management program and earned his undergraduate degree in July 2020.
He has been swimming for 18 years, and during this period, not only did he enjoy the honors of swimming, for example, the champion of the 50-meter backstroke men's college group in the 13th National Student Sports Games, but also he thanks swimming bringing him a lot, such as healthy body, unyielding spirit and even the thought about the situation of Chinese mass Sports, thus, he started his master degree in the Department of P.E, Peking University in September 2020.

Kexiao Sun - Master's Student

Kexiao Sun graduated from the school of international relations of Peking University in July 2021 with a Bachelor of Law degree.
She is a member of the women's basketball team of Peking University. She participated in the 14th National Games on behalf of Peking University and created the best result in history. I also hope to focus on sports and basketball in the future. She began to study in the physical education teaching and Research Department of Peking University in September 2021.

Estefania Fu He - Master's Student

I am Estefania Fu He, an international master student in The Department of Physical Education at Peking University. Prior, I obtained the degree of Bachelor of Economics.
I am active in all sorts of sports, whether playing, competing or working. In high school, I've competing in basketball, football, netball, volleyball and figure skating; among all the sports, I was the captain of the basketball and figure skating team. Then I started to practise tennis and golf. Participating in different types of sports made me understand and observed the diversity of "sports culture". I had the opportunity to come in contact working at France's Ligue 2 Auxerre football club and NHL Bruins. These experiences attracted me to the sport's industry, and more to learn about the mysteries of sports science.

Xinyue Yao - Master's Student

I'm Xinyue Yao, studying in The Department of Pysical Education at Peking University as a graduate student majoring in sports industry and health industry. I've got bacholor's degree of management from Beijing Sport University in July 2022. No matter playing or watching matches, I'm interested in many sports items such as football, tennis, frisbee and so on. Although not completely professional for me to take part in or focuse on these items, I'm a total sports fan. That's also the reason why I choose this major to learn. For me, I have great interests in the research fields of female sports, sports sociology and sports industry such as professional sports club and sports matches. Mengjia Zhou - Master's Student

Hello, I'm Mengjia Zhou. I used to be a law student, I received my bachelor's degree from Peking University Law School in 2022. And I am also a Aerobics gymnastics athlete representing our university team. I've been training Aerobics gymnastics since I was 7 year's old. In my sport life, I always participate in world competitions as a China national team athlete. I won the Asian Championships and third place in World Championships. I took part in annual national competitions and won a lot of gold medals during my undergraduate years. Hope that you can join me and fall in love with sports.
